Student Responsibility & AccountabilityThe UPMC School of Surgical Technology is a place of belonging for all. Not only do all faculty and staff pledge dignity and respect for all. Enrolled students are held to this standard. Students have a responsibility to report incidents of bullying and discrimination they witness or encounter and must also treat everyone with dignity and respect. Any student found to have engaged in bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind or who fail to report such incidents are subject to expulsion from the program.
